Can I pay extra and get dinner provided?

Yes! We can provide meals and deliver them to the house or unit for a reasonable cost. We own a restaurant in Quilpie, so the food comes from there.

Is there a washing machine & dryer?

Yes, both the house and the unit have their own laundry with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a washing line in the backyard of the house. We do supply a small amount of clothes washing detergent, but once that's used up you'll need to buy some at the grocers.

Is tea, coffee & milk provided?

No, tea, coffee and milk are not provided, you'll need to bring them with you, or buy some from the local grocer. We do supply a small amount of dishwashing powder and clothes washing detergent, but once that's used up you'll need to buy some at the grocers.

Is there a TV in each bedroom of the house?

In the house we have TVs for the lounge room and the 3 queen rooms, but none in the single rooms. The unit only has the one open-plan space, and there is a TV in there.

Is there free WIFI at the house or unit?

Not currently. Broadband is expected in Quilpie in the middle of 2024, so maybe after that we will install it.

Is there mobile reception in Quilpie, and at this accommodation?

There is 4 & 5 G mobile phone service in Quilpie although one needs a “ blue tick” phone to use the service. Some phones work out here and some don’t. We have an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy and they work fine. There's only one provider though and that’s Telstra, so if you're with another mobile provider you probably won't get reception.

Can I book just one, or a few of the rooms in the house?

Yes you can! Depending on availability of course!
